2025 POSTER COMPETITION – TERMS AND CONDITIONS

ENTRANTS:

The competition is open to any person over 9 years.

Entrants under 18 years of age must have permission from a parent or guardian.

Permission must be confirmed using the checkbox on the online form.

NAS reserves the right to ask for proof. Entries without permission will be disqualified.

NAS may request evidence of age to verify eligibility.

ENTRIES:

• All entries must be the entrant’s own original work, with unencumbered title.

• Entrants must complete the Poster Competition Entry Form – Narrogin Agricultural Show 2025.

• Entrants may submit up to three entries.

• Entry is free.

• Completed Entry Forms must be submitted before 9am Monday 1 July, 2025.

• Entries must be vertically oriented, in traditional or digital format (JPEG, PNG, PDF), min. 300 DPI, max 5MB.

• All designs must include the text: NARROGIN AGRICULTURAL SHOW, 18 OCTOBER 2025.

• Leave a 6 cm blank strip at the bottom of the poster.

• Do not include the artist’s name on the artwork. Attribution will occur post-judging.

JUDGING:

Two winners (Junior and Senior) will be selected by a NAS committee panel.

Criteria: theme relevance, promotional appeal, clarity, and neatness.

Prizes:

• Junior Prize: $100

• Senior Prize: $200

Winners will be invited to the show opening on 18 October 2025 and contacted within 2 weeks after close.

Judges’ decisions are final.

RESERVED RIGHTS:

Ownership of winning entries, including IP rights, transfers to NAS upon prize payment.

NAS may reproduce, modify, or use the work for any promotional or commercial purpose.

Entrants release NAS and associates from any liability arising from participation.

NAS DISPLAY OF ENTRIES:

Selected entries will be displayed in the Exhibition Hall alongside the winner.

Selection is at NAS committee discretion. No additional prizes for displayed works.

All displayed works will credit the artist.

NAS and Arts Narrogin committee/staff must disclose if participating.
